Representative Connolly Discusses Legislature’s First Week

State Representative for House District 40 Marilyn Connolly (R-Buffalo)has finished her first week in this year’s legislative session, and she talked about what she experienced as a new legislator.

She said this week, however, is a different story, with lawmakers jumping in to work through bills.

Other bills she highlighted that are being worked are on property tax reform, including the homeowner tax exemption, and another on unauthorized drivers licenses from other states.

She detailed House Bill 80, which deals with ESG, Environmental Social Governance, and we will have that in an upcoming story.
