The third reading of an Ordinance to change zoning code in Buffalo passed during the city council meeting Tuesday.

Mayor Shane Schrader explained the change the Ordinance would make once passed.

In an earlier council meeting, City Building Inspector Terry Asay explained the changes to code would remove the default designation of R-1 from all properties annexed into the city, and allow the city to annex a property in under the proper zoning designation fitting the type of property being annexed.

The change is now part of city code.
