Sheridan County Awards Contract for Fuel Mitigation Project

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered awarding the contract for the Little Big Horn Canyon Fuel Mitigation Project.

The county solicited bids for the project, receiving four companies submitting bids.

County Fire Warden Chris Thomas spoke to the commission about the bids at their last meeting, making a recommendation on the award.

The commission awarded the contract to CTC Disaster Response of Kansas in the amount of just over $68,600 which was the lowest bid on the project.
