Aaron PalmerBuffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, during his recent report to the city council, gave the end-of-the-month numbers of what his officers did during the month of November.
Bissett said there were 2,466 calls into the 9-1-1 Center, with officers responding to 511 incidents, resulting in eight arrests during the month.
Bissett said thee were two major cases that were out of the ordinary. One involved fraudulent purchases at convenience stores and truck stops in numerous states, which was stopped by local law enforcement.
The second involved a scared woman that had picked up subjects that offered her money for a ride that eventually ended with arrests on open warrants, drug and firearms charges from another state.
We will have more details on these cases in future stories.
