Aaron PalmerDuring their last regular meeting, Buffalo’s City Council, on the second of three readings, passed Resolution No. 1418, which will change the license fees for transient merchants and religious or charitable permits.
Currently, the fees are $25 for 7-day permits; $50 for 30-day permits; and $100 for a one-year permit.
The proposed changes will set them at $200 for 7 days; $300 for 30 days; and $750 for 365 days.
Violations would warrant fines of not less than $25 and not more than $200 for each incident.
The Ordinance will need to pass a third reading, which is expected at the council’s next meeting on November 5.
