Museum at the Bighorns Director of Museum Operations Chip King made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss the next History Happy.

The Museum’s History Happy Hour program has become a great success while the board and King relocate the museum and the many historical items across town to the historic Woolworth building at 171 North Main Str., in downtown Sheridan.

King believes the unorthodox format of the program and the discussion based setting has led many people to attend History Happy Hours who may not have taken part in programs in the past.

The next program will be at the historic Mint Bar downtown.

Whereas the program encouraged attendees to bring a beverage of their choice, this program will not feature the option as it is taking place at a local saloon. But the atmosphere and discussion based format will remain the same.

History Happy Hour will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the Mint Bar in downtown Sheridan.
