In a new initiative to enhance convenience for attendees, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo has announced a partnership with Sheridan County School District 2 to provide a complimentary park-and-ride shuttle service during Rodeo Week.

The shuttle will operate from Wednesday, July 10, to Saturday, July 13, 2024, offering transportation between downtown Sheridan and the Fairgrounds. The pickup location is set at 103 N Gould St., in the public lot that was previously home to C&C Tire/Cook Ford Building.

Shuttles will run at 20-minute intervals from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. before the rodeo, and from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. after the events, ensuring attendees can easily travel to and from the venue. The drop-off point for all passengers will be at 5th Street.

The service is free for all attendees, though the organizers have noted that no alcohol will be permitted on the buses.

This initiative aims to alleviate traffic congestion, mitigate parking challenges, and enhance safety around the Fairgrounds. Rodeo-goers are encouraged to utilize the public lot at 103 N Gould St. and take advantage of the shuttle service. The shuttle will continue to operate for approximately two hours following the conclusion of the final performance each evening.
