A Utah woman is dead after being involved in a motorcycle crash near Meadowlark Lake in the Big Horn Mountains.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says just after 12-noon on Friday, June 14th, two people were riding on a motorcycle on US Highway 16 in Big Horn County, about 16 miles northeast of Ten Sleep.

At around mile-post 46.5, the driver was navigating a sharp left-hand curve, when the motorcycle drifted off of the highway, lost traction and flipped.

The passenger on the motorcycle, 51-year old Utah resident Dawn Johancsik, was thrown off during the incident.
