Aaron PalmerThe Johnson County Commission hashired a new administrative assistant, who was introduced to the public at their Tuesday meeting.
Chairman Bill Novotny said Kristan Kenyon started this week.
According to discussion, Kenyon is the great-granddaughter of Harold Jarrard, a former Johnson County Commissioner for whom Kaycee’s Harold Jarrard Park is named.
Novotny said Kenyon has deep Kaycee roots and the commissioners are pleased to have her in the office.
He encouraged the public to submit agenda items to her, and invited people stop by the county commissioners’ office and introduce themselves to her.
