It is one of the most difficult duties of the Chamber’s Stroll Committee but one they enjoy every year; choosing the winner of the Christmas Stroll Button Contest. Hundreds of submissions will be made as Sheridan County students currently in Grades 1 through 6 work to create the button for the 2024 Sheridan Christmas Stroll Button Design Contest with the theme, Cowboy Christmas Stroll.

Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Communications Director Jodi Hartley spoke on the contest and how the judges work to choose a winner amidst the hundreds of submissions from Sheridan’s creative artists.

The winning design is featured on the Christmas Stroll buttons. The Chamber’s Stroll Committee looks at each submission and votes to determine the winner. The winning artist will receive $100 in Chamber Bucks, their framed Stroll Button Design and Stroll Button #1.

Entry forms are available at all Sheridan County elementary schools, the Chamber office at 54 S. Main St., Kid Curious at 129 N. Main St. or online at the Chamber’s website.

Entries are due June 7, and can either be mailed to the Chamber, or dropped off at their office at 54 South Main Street. This year’s Christmas Stroll will take place Friday, November 29.
