JCSD1 Board OKs Annual Audit Report

The Johnson County School Board, at their regular meeting Monday night, voted to approve and accept the annual financial audit report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

The report was presented to them in a work session before their regular meeting by Carver, Florek & James, Certified Public Accountants.

In the opinion of the CPAs, who audited the financial statements of the governmental activities, the business-type activities, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information of the district, the financial statements were presented fairly, in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.

Board trustee Dave Belus thanked Business Manager Connie Gay for her work on the audit.
