Enrollment at JCSD1 Schools Mostly Steady in January

Enrollment at schools in Johnson County School District #1 remained relatively stable in January, according to the report given to the school board for this month’s meeting.

At Meadowlark Elementary there are 242 students enrolled, down one from the previous month.

Clear Creek Middle School also lost one student form the previous month to sit at 256 students enrolled there.

One student was also lost from Cloud Peak Elementary for a total enrollment of 216 students.

Buffalo High School held at 331 students in January, the same as the previous month.

New West Alternative High School lost one student in January and currently sits at 31.

Kaycee K-12 School gained one student in January to sit at 99 students.

Overall the district’s enrollment dropped by three students for a total of 1,175 down from 1,178 last month.
