Jo Co Comm Approves Animal Shelter Contract

Johnson County’s Commissioners, during their regular meeting last week, approved and accepted the latest contract with the St. Francis Animal Shelter to board animals on behalf of the county.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny said the contract is essentially an extension of an existing contract with some changes.

Novotny asked County Attorney Tucker Ruby if his office had an opportunity to review the contract, which he said they did and had no issues with it.
