JCRHCD Awards Architectural Contract for Ambulance Barn

The Johnson County Rural Healthcare District Board, during their recent regular meeting for September, voted to award the contract for architectural and design services for the proposed ambulance barn to Nelson Engineering of Buffalo.

The Board sent out Requests For Proposals (RFPs) on the new ambulance barn proposed to be built on lands adjacent to the County Fire Hall earlier this summer, receiving RFPs from two firms in Casper and one from Nelson Engineering.

Board President Britni Camino spoke on why she favored awarding the contract to the Buffalo firm.

The rest of the board agreed with Camino and voted to award the contract to Nelson Engineering at a cost of roughly $134,000.
