The WYO Theater is participating in WyoGives this year as part of their effort to campaign and support the WYO’s initiative: WYO PLAY!
WYO PLAY is a dynamic series of educational programs aimed at all age groups in creative, collaborative, and playful artmaking. ‘PLAY’ stands for Place-based Performances, Life-long Learning, Accessibility for All, and Youthfulness. Since its inception, WYO PLAY has instructed and inspired local children to create and play through the Middle School Drama Club, to produce and perform multiple productions such as Matilda Jr. WYO Play also organizes programs aimed at older community members.
WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network. The statewide 24-hour online fundraising event is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.
On July 12, the WYO is asking that people visit wyogives.org and make a donation to WYO PLAY and/or any of the participating nonprofit organizations listed. All giving will end at 11:59 p.m. on July 12.
If community members have any questions or would like more information, contact WYO Theater Executive Director Erin Butler at 307-672-9083 or ebutler@wyotheater.com.
