Council Approves Minor Subdivision and Purchase and Procurement Policy

The Sheridan City Council met for their first regularly scheduled business meeting of July Wednesday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Adkins Valley II Minor Subdivision, a request to subdivide 2.71 acres from lot one of the replat of tracts five through eight of the Adkins Valley Subdivision into four tracts with a minor subdivision, was tabled by the Sheridan City Council at their June 19 meeting. The area is located at 7 Woodland Park Road. The item was tabled because of questions from nearby property owners about the notification process. City Engineer Thomas Morneau.

An update to the City’s Purchase and Procurement Policy was approved by the Council. City Attorney Brendon Kerns.

The City Council also gave third and final reading approval of ordinance 2268, the Story House Properties Annexation, that annexes a little over 175 acres of property into the City located at 2423 East 5th Street.
