Ron RichterThe Teal Springs Subdivision Planned Unit Development is a step closer to approval as the Sheridan City Council approved first reading of ordinance 2267 this week. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the ordinance rezones 64.9 acres from B-1 and R-1 to a Planned Unit Development, or PUD.
Mercer said the preliminary plat is for 59 lots, six outlots, and two tracts and 57 single family lots ranging in size from .33 of an acre to 1.16 acres. The ordinance must be approved two more times by the City Council before it takes effect.
