Council Awards Bid for Landfill Project

The first phase of a multi-phase project at the City of Sheridan landfill will be moving forward after the City Council awarded the bid for the project at their meeting Monday night. The bid for the Cell 10 phase 1 construction project was awarded to Mountain View Building, Inc. in the amount of $2,737,680. Utilities Director Dan Roberts.

Roberts said the base bid includes cell construction which will consist of earthwork, installation of a composite geosynthetic base liner system, a leachate collection and discharge system,  and associated electrical work.  The project is being funded with a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan and the repayment of the loan will come from landfill rate revenues.
