Undersheriff brings awareness to a dangerous and illegal driving behavior 

With the Downtown Sheridan Main Street Resurfacing & Utility Upgrade and other projects just a few weeks away from breaking ground, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind residents that cutting corners through parking lots and other grounds is illegal.  

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County Undersheriff Lieutenant Devearux Johnson informed listeners of the state statute preventing such an action. 

The Undersheriff discussed an example of the infraction and made a point to bring the dangers of such behaviors to the public’s attention. 

With spring on the horizon, more residents will be enjoying the weather and walking the streets and highways.
