The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect accused of committing multiple burglaries has been arrested, and investigators are checking to see if he’s burglarized others elsewhere.
Between late December of 2022 and early February of 2023, the Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of burglaries from vehicles occurring within the County.
Over several months of investigation, a suspect was identified by Deputies and probable cause was established to arrest the identified suspect, 29-year-old William Holliday, for 20 separate charges of burglary.
As of 03/09/2023 the investigation remains active and the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office is currently working with Johnson County law enforcement in an attempt to resolve multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred inside their jurisdiction during the same time frame.
According to state statute, burglary is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000 or both.
