State Representative Barry Crago (R-Johnson, Sheridan Counties), in his latest update with Sheridan Media on the current legislative session, talked about the belief by some that the legislature may be getting more conservative by moving even farther to the right, while others may argue that a move that far to the right isn’t necessarily conservative at all.

He said he doesn’t believe the House is becoming more “red.”

He did admit there is a growing presence of legislators associated with the Freedom Caucus, but believes it is a bigger issue for those on the outside as opposed to those in the legislature, and explained why.

Crago said its difficult to describe the politics of a larger representation of the Freedom Caucus but he does see a “bigger segment of that.”

Does this mean you’re one of the closeted members of the Freedom (for straight white males) Caucus?

Crago is just plain wrong…wrong on so may past instances I have lost count…if the legislature is going to restrict abortion and take control of women’s bodies then the legislature needs to expand Medicaid and provide for the better welfare of mothers and their children…

More freedom-oriented rep’s is always a good thing.
The constitution and American founding principles are under attack, so it’s nice to see people being elected who truly represent our values and will fight for us.
