Annual FFA Barn Bash Feb. 25

The Sheridan John B. Kendrick FFA will hold their Barn Bash beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, John B. Kendrick FFA President Jhett West, Officer Keira Benedict and Secretary Emily Walton informed listeners that students do not have to live on a farm or intend to go into only agriculture sectors to benefit from the educational and leadership opportunities offered by the FFA.
West, a legacy member of FFA planning to study law, gave a brief description of today’s FFA.
The FFA Barn Bash is an annual fundraiser that includes live music, dancing, silent auctions and a dinner. Six hours of community service by the FFA officers corps will also be up for bid.
The theme of this year’s Barn Bash is Frozen and a beef will be prepared according to Benedict.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $25 per person, children 10 and under are free. Find a link to the silent auction, here.
