Crago Brings Amendment to Pass Abortion Bill

State Representative Barry Crago (R-Johnson, Sheridan Counties), in his weekly update with Sheridan Media last week from the legislative session, talked about the abortion bill, HB152, which passed the House after it was amended.

He talks about the issue some legislators had with the bill.

Crago said that is what prompted him to bring an amendment to the legislation, trying to make it more palatable for Representatives to back.

Crago said he was trying to bring a compromise to the table to actually pass the bill, which he felt may not have passed without the amendment.

The bill passed the House and has moved on to the Senate.
