Multi-Forest trail maintenance contract solicitation for bids

The Shoshone and Bighorn National Forests will be soliciting bids for a five year long Trail Maintenance Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
According to the synopsis, the work will entail trail construction, trail maintenance, trail obliteration, trail survey, and emergency repairs. The location includes areas within four regions in Wyoming, Shoshone (North and South), Bighorn, and Bridger-Teton National Forests. Also included is the installation or maintenance of trail features, such as water bars, retaining walls, culverts, switchbacks, clearing of vegetation, and hazard tree removal, and other related trail work as described in the Statement of Work under each individual Task Order issued under the contract. The synopsis calls for the contractor to provide all necessary equipment, manpower, transportation and operating supplies and other incidentals to accomplish this work.

This synopsis is posted for 30 days, beginning Feb. 3, 2023. According to the Forest Service, the actual solicitation will be posted on or about March 15. Any Small Business interested parties that wish to submit future proposals must be registered at www.sam.gov.
