Sheridan Commission to Work on Brooks Street Project Agreements

The Sheridan County Commission will consider an amendment to an agreement and an agreement on the Brooks Street Greenspace project during their regular meeting Tuesday morning.

The agreement is between the county and Morrison-Maierle, Inc. for construction administration services on the Brooks Street paving and retaining wall project.

They will also consider Amendment #2 to the agreement between the county and Morrison-Maierle, Inc. for professional services for the design work on the Brooks Street Greenspace Project.

They will also consider a contract with Parker Glass for the Business Incubator Door Replacement Project for a sum of just under $30,000.

The commission will consider the appointment of Jim Gibbs to the Weed & Pest Control District representing Area 7; and the appointment of Rachel Mealor to the Weed & Pest Control District representing Area 6, both to four-year terms beginning January 1, 2023.

The meeting will be at 9 a.m. in the Second Floor Boardroom, #220 of the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.

The public is welcome to attend.

    I don’t know if I have ever seen such a group of “tax and spend” County Commissioners in this county. Property taxes going up so they can spend more money on architectural designed “green spaces”
