Buffalo Police Chief Talks Types of Drugs They Are Finding

In a recent report to the city council by Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bisett, he outlined a number of arrests involving drugs that were seized and taken out of the community.
Although there has been Methamphetamine in the area for years, there are other drugs that are becoming more and more common.
In his discussion with Sheridan Media about the arrests, he talked about the types of drugs they are seeing moving in and through Northeast Wyoming and why.
Bissett said from Montana, the farther south you go, the cheaper the drugs are.
In the case of Fentanyl, Bissett said what used to cost $30 per pill, can be purchased for $3 to $4 in Denver now.
Bissett talked about the dangers of Fentanyl to the general public, and the precautions that officers need to take when dealing with these drugs.
We will have that in an upcoming story.
