Museum at the Bighorns is looking for a few good hands

The new Executive Director of the Museum at the Bighorns made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program.
Danielle “Dani” Stuckle was hired to fill the vacant executive director position at the Museum at the Bighorns. Stuckle grew up on a farm in North Dakota. Always fascinated with the history of her family and the surrounding area, Stuckle chose to major in the subject while attending college.
For over a decade, Stuckle worked at the State Historical Society of North Dakota. While looking for a new opportunity, Stuckle discovered the announcement for the Museum at the Bighorns leadership position.
Fascinated by historical objects and their ability to tell a story, Stuckle told listeners that the museum executive director position is a good fit for her.
With a passion for the local Sheridan Region history, Stuckle said she is looking to build on existing partnerships in the Sheridan community as well as develop new relationships between local organizations and the museum.
With only two full-time employees – herself and Collections Manager Jessica Salzman – Stuckle is hoping the holiday season will garner some volunteers that will donate their time to further the museum’s efforts.
To volunteer your time, call the Museum at the Bighorns at 307-675-1150 or visit them at 850 Sibley Cir., in Sheridan
