Buffalo Council OKs Reallocation Request

Buffalo’s City Council has approved a reallocation request from the Buffalo Children’s Center (BCC) to use 1% funds differently than originally intended.

Cheyann Pehringer, Director of the BCC, came before the council at their Tuesday meeting to make the request.

Pehringer said she wanted to use the remainder of their 1% funds, which were originally allocated for playground improvements, to put toward the purchase of a new dishwasher.

The cost of the dishwasher is $6,800 according to Pehringer.
