Auditions open to play the Kendricks

Every year the Trail End Historic Site invites the public to spend Christmas with the Kendricks at the historic Kendrick Mansion. 

The public is invited to tour the home of one of Sheridan and Wyoming’s most influential families. Live actors put on a performance as the family room by room. Soon, auditions will take place for those parts. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, State Historic Site Superintendent Shaire Shada invited any and all who wish to take part in the recreation to the auditions. 

Shada asks that potential actors be available for each night of the festivities and rehearsals, which will take place the Tuesdays and Thursdays of the 2nd and 3rd weeks of December. Christmas with the Kendricks will take place Dec. 16 and 17 beginning at 5 p.m. 

According to Shada, no experience is necessary, just a willingness to participate and an ability to memorize lines. Men and women ages 20 and up are needed.

Auditions for Christmas with the Kendricks will be 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Kendrick Mansion at the Trail End State Historic Site.
