The 10th Annual Suds and Spurs Brewfest will feature craft brewers from all over the nation, giving Sheridan residents a chance to sample beers from across the country while raising money for the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Program Development Director Teresa Detimore told listeners that money raised during this event will allow the chamber to continue educational programing and business networking events.
The chamber invites breweries from around the region but also reaches out to other states. According to Deitmore, brewers from as far a California will be in attendance and competing for a vote.
Ticket holders will be asked to vote for their favorite brewery, as the People’s Choice Award of the event. A professionally judged competition, will also take place with the winner also receiving a Tom Balding Spur.
Beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, the Suds and Spurs Brewfest will be celebrating all things beer and ale at the Whitney Commons Park.
Organizers do ask that four-legged friends remain at home. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased through the WYO Theater, here, or by visiting the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, 54 S. Main St. or Black Tooth Brewing Company, 312 Broadway, in Sheridan.
