Aaron PalmerAt their recent meeting, City Works Director Les Hook gave the Buffalo City Council an update on the South Burritt construction project, saying the contractor will be installing crosswalks along the street.
Hook said they would pour one side of each crosswalk and finish the other half this coming week, to allow traffic flow through the intersections during construction.
Brent Bennett, with Nelson Engineering, spoke on the Flatiron Drive project.
Bennett said they expect to get the road open once the testing of the pours are complete, when they should start on the last piece of the project from Flagstaff north to Glencoe Way.
Bennett said, “there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”
