HUB Discusses Services Offered for Seniors

Helaine McRae and Beth Leahy with the HUB on Smith, Sheridan’s local senior center, were recent guests on our talk show Public Pulse to discuss services the organization offers to the senior community.
McRae talked about the many things people can do at the HUB.
In addition to the fun activities, the HUB offers a number of services designed to help keep seniors more independent for as long as possible.
These include a support center for access and coordination of services; Day Break adult day care service; Dementia Friendly Wyoming support for those with Dementia and their care partners; family caregiver support; Goose Creek Transit; the Urban Thrift Store; and meals.
The final support program is Help at Home, described by Manager Beth Leahy.
The HUB also provides home delivered meals to those that qualify for the program.
Those that may want or need more information on any of the services provided by the HUB on Smith can contact them for more information.
