Two separate Notices of Intent (NOI) to vacate public rights-of-way in Sheridan County have been approved by the county commission.

The first involves Story Avenue in the Suburban Homes Company Addition, according to County Engineer Ken Muller, who was appointed as the viewer by the commission.

He recommended approval of the vacation.

Muller also discussed the proposed vacation of of the public right-of-way known as a portion of Carbon Hill Road.

The commission approved issuing Notices of Intent (NOI) for both vacations, which will be advertised.

The vacations will require public hearings to be scheduled and held before any action can be taken.
