Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council will soon be considering an ordinance that is an amendment to 19 different City code provisions. City Attorney Brendon Kerns says the changes are intended to ensure that City ordinances properly reflect the functions of the City, penalty standards, accounting procedures and budgeting methods.
Kerns said the 19 proposed changes fall into three categories.
The Council is expected to consider the ordinance amending the code provisions at an upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting. The ordinance will need to be approved by the Council three times before it takes effect.
