Big Night for the Troopers Taking Two From Gillette / Rockies fall in Seattle

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers swept the Gillette Roughriders Tuesday night 4-3 and 13-3 Carter Dubberley hit a walk off double off the center field wall in the first game to win it and the Troops rattled the bats in the second game winning by the 10 run rule after 6 innings, Head coach Ben Phillips says it was a big night for the Troopers.

The Trooper batters seem to come through every time they needed a big hit.

They used three pitchers last night as Trevor Stowe, Brock Steel and Rich Hall did a great job of holding off the Gillette bats.

They play two in Spearfish, South Dakota tonight then head to Billings to open a tournament Friday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies dropped the opener of a short road series at Seattle last night 2-1 they finish up in Seattle today first pitch at 2:10 on Smart Talk 106.3 FM the Rox open a road series at Milwaukee tomorrow afternoon.
