Lecholat Signs With MSU / Hawks Hockey v the Icedogs Friday and Saturday

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys are off until next Thursday when they host a game with Utah state, we will broadcast a Cowboy classic football game Saturday night at 6:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are at home this week hosting Bozeman tomorrow and Saturday night they drop the puck both nights at 7:30.

SAM LECHOLAT SIGNS WITH MSU – Wednesday Sheridan high school Senior Sam Lecholat signed his national letter of intent to play basketball at Montana state in Bozeman and Sam took some time to sit down with us and talk about the decision to go with the Bobcats.

Eleven months ago Sam verbally committed to play at Montana state and yesterday with his signature it became official and he says it’s nice to have the process done and now can move ahead to playing his senior season.

Last spring the basketball season got shut down on the first day of the state tournament and Sam says it was a big let down but he went right back to work to improve his game for this season.

And finally today he talks about how he has evolved over the last five years as a player from just being the tallest to now where he can play all five positions on the court.

FALL / WINTER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS – Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian is in the process now of getting ready to begin the winter sports season and it’s challenges but for now he was so happy they were able to get back to school and have a fall sports and activities season.
