HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are circling the wagons this week as COVID 19 has put the team in quarantine until at least next week.
The Hawks games with past weekend were called off because of COVID 19 issues in Helena, Montana and the Hawks become the 4th team in the division now facing a short shutdown.
Hawks hockey club President Dr. Brent Milner says this was not something that was unexpected.
And he says no time is good for a quarantine but as far as the team and the season the timing was good to have it happen early.
X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will run Saturday at their state championships in Casper, the 3-A meet will be in Afton and the 2-A state meet will be in Douglas.
BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs the regular season hosting Thunder Basin Friday kickoff is at 6:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM
RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles close out the regular season as well the Rams play at Upton / Sundance Friday while the Eagles host Glenrock.
COWBOY FOOTBALL – This week’s Wyoming Cowboy football action is the start of the Mountain West Conference season with the Pokes playing at Nevada Saturday night the game will kickoff at 5:00 live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
Head coach Craig Bohl held his first game week news conference of the season Monday and says it’s good to have Cowboy football back.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host Kansas City Sunday afternoon the game will kickoff at 2:25 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
