Aaron PalmerThe Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District approved recommendations for employment and requests for home schooling and isolation reimbursement.
Kelsey Warren was approved as a Special Olympics Coach, replacing Teresa Hicks.
The resignation of Kade Caturia as Head Wrestling Coach at Buffalo High School was also approved.
The board acknowledged the home school requests submitted for forty-two (42) families and approved proposed curriculums for home schooling the eighty (80) children for the 2020-2021 school year.
Finally, Isolation requests for reimbursement of travel expenses were also approved for 2 students in the district, one for Meadowlark Elementary in Buffalo for roughly 23 miles of travel from their home to the school bus stop daily; the second for a student attending Kaycee School traveling about 18 miles per day.
