Lady Eagles end their season with a big victory / Rams-Broncs Back at Wyoming State Football Weekend / Pokes at UNLV Saturday Night

STATE VOLLEYBALL – The Tongue River volleyball team had a new coach this season, and the team ended up with the same result at the state tournament as they did last year.

The Lady Eagles lost in the semi-finals of the state tournament, which put them in the consolation bracket.

In the 3rd place game they were down two-sets to none vs Pine Bluffs and then rallied to win the next three games to claim the 3rd place trophy.

New head coach Kristen Masters says for her first year as coach, she couldn’t ask for much better considering she coached the players a few years ago at a different grade level.

the lady eagles record for the season is 20-12-and-4.

STATE FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Sheridan Broncs will play for the 2A and 4A state football championships Friday and Saturday as both teams return to Laramie to defend their titles from a year ago.

The Rams play Torrington Friday at noon we will have it for you live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM, the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 11:30 kickoff is at noon.

The Broncs have a rematch of last year’s game as they take on Cheyenne East Saturday First Federal bank and trust pregame at 3:30 with kickoff at 4:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys are on the road at UNLV Saturday night you can hear the game on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM kickoff is at 8:45

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos next game will be Monday night football at the Buffalo Bills.
