WYOMING STATE GOLF – The Sheridan Lady Bronc golfers overcame a ten shot Casper Kelly Walsh lead on the back nine of the final round of the state golf tournament on won in a runaway to take the team title.
In the end the Lady Broncs went from 10 shots back to win the championship by 17 shots, Head coach Joe Quinn talks about his advice to the players going into that final round.
And that big of a comeback is something that almost never happens of in the game of golf.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs, Tongue River Eagles and Big Horn Rams all posted lopsided victories, the Broncs are 4-0, tr is 3-0 and the Rams 2-1 and all three will be on the road Friday.
The Broncs tee it up at Thunder Basin the Rams play at Torrington and the Eagles will play at Newcastle.
COWBOY FOOTBALL -The Wyoming Cowboys played #6 Texas tough but fell 31-10, the game was tied at 10 going into the 4th quarter, Saturday the Pokes are back at home with their final non conference game against APP State kickoff is set for 5:00.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos lost 35-33 to Washington yesterday they are 0-2 and will play at Miami Sunday.
VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball dropped both matches against Thunder Basin and Campbell county they play at the Casper invitational this week.
The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Wright and Thermopolis they will also play at the Casper invite this week.
The Tongue River Lady Eagles host Big Horn Thursday and Sundance Friday before a road trip to Lovell Saturday.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers competed in Gillette Friday and hosted Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday, the Lady Broncs will host the Sheridan invitational this Weekend.
