Cowgirl Hoops Open the WNIT Friday / Spring Sports set to Open This Week / Sheridan Troopers Open the 2023 Season April 16th

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls will play in the WNIT their first round game will be played at the Double “AA” Friday when they host Texas A&A Corpus Cristi.

We will have the game for you live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM Cowgirl pregame starts at 6:00 with the tip at 6:30.

4A ALL CONFERENCE BASKETBALL – Class 4A all state basketball teams will be announced tomorrow, today we have the all conference lists first team all conference for the Lady Broncs are Alli Ligocki and Sam Spielman with Addy Burgess named to the 2nd team.

For the Broncs Cael Hamrick and Garrett Spielman were named to the first team.

SPRING HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS – The start of our the Wyoming high school spring sports season in Sheridan is in a holding pattern as of today with snow conditions, Sheridan high school is scheduled to host a track meet Thursday.

If you have seen Homer Scott stadium it’s unlikely to happen and the Sheridan high school soccer teams are scheduled to host Buffalo Friday and those games are in doubt as well.

SHERIDAN AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – It’s time to start looking ahead to American Legion baseball season, the Sheridan Troopers are schedule to open the season at home April 16th with a double header against Powell.

The Sheridan Jets will open April 23rd, the Sheridan Cavalry will open open May 5th and the Sheridan Infantry team will start their season May 7th.
