JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks split their weekend series with the Great Falls Americans and currently sit in third place in the league standings, they travel for a big showcase event in Blaine, Minnesota which gets underway Sunday.
They’ve won 8 of their last10 games and Head coach Chad Bailey says the players are starting to get comfortable with each other and their surroundings.
And Chad told us what he really likes about this year’s Hawks roster.
The showcase this weekend in Minnesota is all for the players to show off their talent.
The next home game for the Hawks will be December 30th when they host the Gillette Wild, Bailey says it should be a fun night with a special event after the game.
WRESTLING – The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will compete at a tournament in Gillette starting Friday and the Tongue River wrestlers will be at Wright on Friday.
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play Buffalo Friday night the Broncs host, the girls play at Buffalo and Saturday they both host games with Cody.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers host a dual with Buffalo today Campbell County and Thunder Basin High schools from Gillette will also compete, events get underway at 4:00.
COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are off until Saturday night when they host the Dayton Flyers.
