Spielman Signs With UW Golf / Junior Hawks Host two With Rapid City / Cowboy Football v Boise State Saturday Night

COLLEGE GOLF NLI – A two-time state champion golfer from Sheridan will hit the links for the Brown and Gold.

Lady Bronc Senior Samantha Spielman has signed her letter of intent to golf at the University of Wyoming.

She won the 4A girls individual state title back in September by four shots, and won the title two years ago as a Sophomore.

She was the state runner-up in her Freshman year and placed 3rd as a Junior.

Sam says she had also been contacted by the University of Kansas, as well as a number of division II and III schools, but decided that she didn’t want to go that far.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Bronc program will meet as a group tonight including parents, players and coaches with their annual dinner and awards program. Big Horn and Tongue River will hold their events next week.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys host Boise state Saturday night pregame starts at 3:30 with kickoff at 5:00 on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back at the M&M center this weekend hosting the Badlands Sabres from Rapid City game time both nights is 7:30.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open a tournament in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands Friday against Howard University at 1:15 pm.
