Infamous for the rough and rugged trail, The Wolf Creek Wrangle is a run for those seeking a challenge while also contributing to Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns and that challenge just became more difficult and fun.

On Sept. 17, people will be able to run, hike in a 5-mile, 7-mile, half marathon or – new for 2022 – a 30K challenge. Hosted at the renowned Eaton’s Ranch, this run will challenge even the most experienced of distance runners with all proceeds going to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns Executive Director Christine Dieterich told listeners that she had spoken with Eaton Ranch Manager Jeff Way about possibly routing a longer course as they planned for this year’s event.

The course, according to Dieterich, is beautiful and challenging. Where the rubber meets the trail, this course will challenge the most experienced runners. Runners will need to bring their own water supply. Only 125 runners will be able to participate.
