LADY BRONC GOLF – A Sheridan Lady Bronc golfer will soon tee off at the college level just outside of Wyoming. Senior Katie Jorgenson has signed her letter of intent (LOI) to play golf at Black Hills State University.
She placed 8th at the Wyoming high school state meet this past September and helped the Lady Broncs win the state championship.
Jorgenson says she was looking to go to a college that wasn’t far from home, and playing golf at the collegiate level did not cross her mind at first.
TRACK AND FIELD – The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will host the Dan Hansen invitational next Saturday then on Tuesday the 26th they will host the Gary Benson Border War meet.
GOLFERS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will play next Friday at an invite in Buffalo.
SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams will host games with Thunder Basin Tuesday evening boys varsity at 4:00 followed by the girls at 6:00.
Next weekend they have league games with Laramie and Cheyenne South the Lady Broncs will play at home.
TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will look to start their spring schedule next Saturday in Casper.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers will open their season next weekend on Saturday and Sunday they will play in Gillette both days against teams yet to be determined.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost to the the Chicago Cubs 5-2 last night, game two of the series starts tonight at 6:40, you can hear Rockies baseball this season on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
