Twelve Broncs and three Lady Broncs earned all-state honors based off of their finishes at the 2022 Indoor Track and Field State Meet.
Those who finish in 1st or 2nd in any individual event, as well as the winning team in a relay event, automatically get all-state honors.
There is no voting.
Boys:
Carter McComb is a 4-time all-state athlete.
He was part of the winning 4×200 meter relay team in 2019 and 2020.
In 2021, he won the 200 meter dash and was runner-up in 55 meter dash.
Recently, he won both the 55-meter and 200-meter dash.
Ryan Karajanis is a 3-time all-state athlete, winning the pole vault 3 years in a row.
Sheridan’s 2-time all-state winners are Patrick Aasby (4 by 800 meter relay in 2021 and 2022), Austin Akers (4 by 800 meter relay in 2021 and 2022 and 1600 meter run in 2021 and 2022), Carl Askins (1600 spring medley relay in 2021 and 4 by 200 meter relay and 4 by 400 meter relay in 2022), Reese Charest (1600 sprint medley relay in 2022 and 800 meter run in 2021 and 4 by 800 meter relay in 2021), Rich Hall (1600 sprint medley relay in 2021 and 4 by 200 meter relay in 2022) and Dominic Kaszas (1600 sprint medley relay in 2021 and 55 meter dash in 2022 and 4 by 200 meter relay in 2022)
First time all-state winners from Sheridan are Dominick Berretini (1600 Sprint Medley relay), Nathan Fitzpatrick (4 by 400 meter relay), Aiden O’Leary (4 by 400 meter relay) and Texas Tanner (shot put).
Side Note: The boys 1600 sprint medley relay team set a new state record with a time of 3 minutes 39.57 seconds. The old record was 3:39.66, set by Rock Springs in 2018.
Girls:
Preslee Moser is a 2-time All-State winner.
She was runner-up in high jump in 2021 and 2022.
First time winners are Dulce Carroll (high jump) and Maggie Turpin (800 meter run).
