Sheridan County High School Basketball Recap: January 11-15, 2022

Sheridan completed a 6 road games in an 8-day stretch, Big Horn and Tongue River started 2A Northeast Quadrant play, and had their first contest vs. each other, while Arvada-Clearmont was at the Little 6 Invitational at Meeteetse.

Sheridan Boys:

On Tuesday the Broncs won at Cody 78-52, then on Thursday they won at Buffalo 69-40, and then Friday they won at Natrona 54-45.

Sheridan is 9-0 on the season.

East Conference play starts on Friday (January 21st) at Campbell County (7:30pm tip-off).

Saturday is the home opener as the Broncs host Thunder Basin at 5:30pm.

Sheridan Girls:

On Tuesday the Lady Broncs lost at Cody 58-41, then on Thursday they won at Buffalo 53-48, and then Friday won at Natrona 42-40.

Sheridan is 6-3 on the season.

East Conference play starts on Friday (January 21st) at Campbell County (6pm tip-off).

Saturday is the home opener as the Lady Broncs host Thunder Basin at 4pm.

Big Horn Boys:

The Rams started the weekend with a win on Friday home vs. Shoshoni 49-38.

BH then started 2A NE Quadrant play on Saturday and lost home vs. Tongue River 76-66.

Big Horn is 5-6 on the season, and 0-1 in the 2A Northeast.

The Rams are back in action on Thursday (January 20th) at home vs. Moorcroft (7:30pm tip-off).

On Saturday they are at Sundance starting at 1pm.

Big Horn Girls:

The Lady Rams lost a pair of games during the weekend.

On Friday, they lost home vs. Shoshoni 29-28

BH then started 2A NE Quadrant play on Saturday and lost home vs. Tongue River 52-46.

Big Horn is 1-10 on the season, and 0-1 in the 2A Northeast.

The Lady Rams are back in action on Thursday (Januury 20th) at home vs. Moorcroft (6pm tip-off).

On Saturday they are at Sundance, starting at 2:30pm.

Tongue River Boys:

The Eagles started 2A Northeast quadrant play with a pair of wins.

On Friday (January 14th), TR they won home vs. Wright 65-41, and then on Saturday they won at Big Horn 76-66.

Tongue River is 10-2 on the season, and 2-0 in the 2A Northeast.

The Eagles are back in action on Friday home vs. 1A Burlington (6pm tip-off).

On Saturday, TR is scheduled to play at 3A Lovell, starting at 4pm.

Tongue River Girls:

Like the boys, the Lady Eagles started 2A Northeast quadrant play with a pair of wins of their own.

On Friday (January 14th), TR won home vs. Wright 41-32, and then on Saturday they won at Big Horn 52-46.

Tongue River is 6-6 on the season, and 2-0 in the 2A Northeast.

The Lady Eagles are back in action on Friday home vs. 1A Burlington (4:30pm tip-off).

On Saturday, TR is scheduled to play at 3A Lovell, starting at 2:30pm.

Arvada-Clearmont Boys:

The Panthers played in the Little 6 Invitational at Meeteetse.

On Friday, A-C lost vs. Ten Sleep 69-30.

Then on Saturday, Arvada-Clearmont lost vs. Ten Sleep 69-30, and then lost vs. Dubois 71-8.

The Panthers are 0-9 on the season.

A-C starts 1A Northeast quadrant play on Friday (January 21st) at Upton (6pm tip-off)

Saturday is the Panthers scheduled home opener vs. Hulett, beginning at 3pm.

Arvada-Clearmont Girls:

The Lady Panthers played their first games in more than one month as they played in the Little 6 Invitational at Meeteetse.

On Friday, A-C won vs. Ft. Washakie, 60-35.

On Saturday, Arvada-Clearmont lost vs. Meeteetse, 60-41, and then lost vs. Dubois 39-33.

The Lady Panthers are 2-4 on the season.

A-C starts 1A Northeast quadrant play on Friday (January 21st) at Upton (4:30pm tip-off).

Saturday is the Lady Panthers scheduled home opener vs. Hulett, beginning at 1:30pm.
