Sheridan County High School Volleyball Recap: Oct. 14-16 2021

There’s 1 week to go in the regular season before the regional tournaments.

Sheridan:

The Sheridan Lady Broncs split road games vs. the southeast quadrant.

The girls swept Cheyenne South 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-20), but got swept by Laramie 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-12).

The Lady Broncs’ record stands at 9-18 on the season, with an 0-4 record in the 4A Northeast.

The next scheduled matches are on Friday, October 22nd at home vs. Campbell County beginning at 6pm, and then Saturday, October 23rd at Thunder Basin beginning at noon.

Big Horn:

The Lady Rams split their 2A Northeast Quadrant matches.

BH went on the road and swept Wright 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-21), but then lost at home vs. Moorcroft 3-1 (25-22, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22).

Big Horn’s record stands at 15-12-1 with a 5-2 record in the 2A Northeast.

The next scheduled match is Friday, October 22nd at home vs. Sundance at 2pm, and then Saturday, October 23rd at Greybull starting at 2pm.

Tongue River:

The Lady Eagles have found new life in the 2A Northeast.

On Friday, TR swept Sundance at home 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-22), but on Saturday they fell on the road at Riverside 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-9).

The other Saturday match scheduled at Greybull was canceled.

Tongue River’s record is 10-9-2 on the season with a 2-4 record in the 2A Northeast.

The Lady Eagles next scheduled matches are on Thursday, October 21st at home vs. Moorcroft at 6pm, then Friday, October 22nd at home vs. Wright at 3:30pm, and then Saturday, October 23rd at Rocky Mountain at 2pm.

Arvada-Clearmont:

The Lady Panthers had a busy weekend, playing in 4 matches.

On Thursday, October 14th, A-C lost at Upton 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-15), then lost Friday at Kaycee 3-0 (25-10, 25-7, 25-7).

On Saturday, they traveled to Midwest for 2 matches.

First was a 3-1 loss vs. Midwest, and a 3-0 loss vs. Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (25-16, 27-25, 25-21).

Arvada-Clearmont’s record is now 2-15-2 with an 0-7 record in the 1A Northeast.

The next scheduled match is Friday, October 22nd at home vs. Hulett at 11am.

Then on Saturday, October 23rd they will travel to Ten Sleep to play Dubois at noon, and then Ten Sleep at 4pm.
