Lady Broncs win home season opener

The Sheridan Lady Broncs’ basketball team cruised to a 56-38 victory over Natrona County in their home season opener Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025. This was coach Chris Wagner’s home debut.

The Lady Fillies led 19-18 at the half. Lady Broncs’ junior Mesa Hanft scored the Broncs’ final points of the half but seconds later suffered a game-ending ankle injury.

Lady Broncs’ Ella Bilyeu scored on a fast break to open the third quarter. Both teams exchanged three pointers to tie the game at 23-all. A basket by Kinley Ruby gave the Broncs a 25-23 lead and they never trailed. Rubey Reimers’ three-pointer was the Lady Broncs’ last basket.
