One Sheridan High School Soccer player will head to the opposite side of the state to play at the next level.

Karson Chase has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.

This past season the Golden Eagles went 8-5-2 and made it to the Region IX Semi-Finals.

Chase says LCCC has had some success during the course of the past decade and he has some friends that are going to play on the team as well.

“I’ve heard their program is very good. I heard they had just put a bunch of money into their new facilities and stuff and so I’m excited to get to use all of that and I’m excited to get to be coached by one of their coaches. Some of my friends are going there, we had kind of got a cool plan to dorm together and we’re both playing soccer there, so it’ll be fun and that’s just the main thing that drew me there.”

Chase adds he intends to major in business.
